Passive AI in Battle on the Diabolus?

I'm not sure this is a bug, but halfway through the mission "Battle on the Diabolus", the AI stopped doing anything - is this supposed to happen?
There were some Stormboyz in the process of crossing the river, they just sat there and let themselves be ripped apart from my artillery. No other units even attempted to advance and I basically skipped at least eight turns.
None of my core units except artillery and a flyer saw any combat action whatsoever.
Maybe this is how it's supposed to be, but after defending the bridges in the mission before, it sure felt like a bug...

As I played the mission, the AI does nothing since turn 8 or 9.
The trigger for the Orks are set. In tunr 9 all Orks should attack the victory hexes.
I dont know why they dont do it. Will ask Alex.

I tried to change the scenario.
But I seems to me. that the triggers should work, but they dont. I learned from Alex, thta Instantly triggers would work, if something on map changed. If I dont make a move in turn 9, perhaps the Trigger would not start.

- many units at the left side dont moved (starting position)
- units.jpg (78.01 KiB) Viewed 6522 times
my changes:
* time conditions from [5,5] to [5,-1] (also for turn 9)
* from Instantly to begin of side 2 turn
* added message to check the Triggers

- triggers.jpg (54.79 KiB) Viewed 6522 times
As I replayed the scenario, all enemy units are far from their starting Position

- no Ork Units on the left side

@Kerensky: Plese, let us talk. May I write you a PM?

Perhaps I found a way to reproduce the problem.
Yesterday, I tested the scenario again. I used my savegame from the end of turn 4 and played. The triggers dont fired.
Today, I tried again with my savegame and the triggers fired.
I looked at the changes between yesterday and today and try to separate (different game options, laptop with/without power supply, internet connetion..)
But the reason that the triggers fired was my laziness.
If I kill all Ork units in turn 4 and 5, they see me, the other Ork units, they should attack, dont know where to go and refrain from attacking.
It looks like: if my units after my turn 5 "invisible" for Orks, they would not attack me.
It seems like a bug in the program. The Orks should attack the victory hexes, if they spot no enemies.
Checked my guess twice, with / without killing all visible orks in turn 4 and 5.
ALEX - please fix it.

We did get reports on this scenario during BETA, but I wasn't able to detect the issue. Every time I played it seemed to work fine. This kimage was a test I ran after the first report, and it seemed to work fine.
However, you may be on to something with that last report there. Thanks for the extra investigation, we'll see if we can take a closer look at that!

This is my savegame.
Use next turn.
If you kill on the lower part of the map
1. the Ork infantery (14 strenght) and
2. the other Ork infantery (40 sterngth)
in this turn and
3. you don't move your units
in the next turn: kill all new spotted Ork units without moving (to far in left direction) your units
--> the Orks does not attack you in the next turns
If you do nothing with the Orks in this turn
--> the Orks attacks you in the next turns

Do not worry, fxs.

I managed to convince rudankorta that the script does not work correctly.
In all scenarios, where changes the behavior of AI to attack, if the orcs do not see the enemy, they just stand still.
I thought they should go to the VH.

I suggest you recall what happened with this scenario, zak.
In this scenario, we have been defending retreat across the river.
There should have been three waves of attacks.
Kerensky, this scenario has changed in each build.
First removed retreat.
Then removed wave.
Changes the Zone 2 on All maps.
But the units do not want to go on the attack.
Do you think that these changes will make the scenario more interesting?
This occurs not only in this scenario, but in others, which use this script.
Correct this error, the game will only improve.
Therefore, it
should be and
needs to be corrected.

I just wanted to chip in that I had the exact same passive AI issue on this map.
From around turn 8 until the end of the scenario the AI does nothing and all I did was finish my turn to win the mission.
