I never know where to post here or at the Matrix forums. :)

A few suggestions

When I skip a unit's turn it should automatically perform the Rest & Refit order, much like in PzC units do resupply when no orders has been given.

Is it possible for the unit info panel show icons for weapon traits, like it already does for unit abilities? This is would be import for weapons that have crucial traits like indirect (indirect fire) or bulky (not used in retaliation combat). For my own units I can find this information in the unit purchase screen, but for Orks I have to load the editor to see this.

It's nice to get a description of an ability or stat by clicking on it. But personally I find pop-up windows are an ugly way to present information. Who ever came up with this idea should be crucified to ward off evil spirits and similar enthusiasts seeking employment. Please consider using expanding tooltips / mouse-overs instead.
They are such a beautiful and unobtrusive way to relay useful information to the player. Add on top of that an option to set a delay for displaying tooltips, and I guarantee you free hugs.

With terrain properties like cover and blocking LOS being such an important factor for battle predictions, maybe predictions could show cover and total blocked LOS for both sides? Sure, you can easily calculate this information on your own, but it would be convenient and certainly a helpful reminder for new players to take terrain features seriously.

Thx for good suggestions (will consider them all), and special thanks for offering to crucify me, appreciate that. The reason why information is presented in info boxes, not tooltips, is that usually you want to read them just once, while big tooltips flashing on the screen will haunt you forever. Delay for tooltips might be nice, but we need to provide default good experience, many people never bother with tweaking options. Huge tooltips appearing instantly, or forcing you to wait, are both frustrating enough in my opinion.

It is a matter of taste though, so would be interesting to hear more opinions on this.

Is there a way to leave a unit in reserve (like in PzC)? I would like to change my force composition but don't want to get rid of an experienced unit just because I need more inf for the current mission. At the moment I understand there is no way to do this - is this correct?

few more question on units since Ive just read the manual :)
- the manual mentions that exp gives advantage to attacking and a smaller one to defense. Did anybody notice this? If so how much is added?
- the manual mentions something similar to recon-move from PzC (5.4.Vehicles) so you can move, shoot and move again. Was this abandoned later in development or is this something that will show up in more advanced units?
