Viewing Last turn

I played a multiplayer campaign game and landed on the moon. Submitted the turn not knowing if my opponent was going to land on the moon on the same turn as we both were very close (what would happen then?). I got an email saying the game was over with instructions for how to view the last turn. I tried those instructions and they don't seem to work. All I get when I try and load the game is a message saying "The selected game has ended".

This was the email I received:
"Dear Player

The following game has completed

Battle: <Game Name>
Turns: 114

This game is now complete but you can view a playback of the final turn by running Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager and clicking Multiplayer. Select this game from the list of current games and click Play."

Note: there is no list of current games of Play button but that is trivial.

Am I missing something? How do I view what my opponent did on the last turn. There was no "you won" screen or anything. The email doesn't even say I won although I am guessing I did. My lunar landing missions recap screen was normal (showed the mission was a success) and I submitted the turn like normal. I was expecting my opponent to take their turn then a final turn be sent to both of us where I would get the "You Won" screen. Feels anticlimactic after 114 turns spanning a month to just have it end. Also would be nice to allow the players to chat once they know the game is over.

Hello Zultor,

Apologies for my late reply. Notice that the e-mail is the default message sent by the PBEM server because, in most games from the Slitherine catalog, it makes sense to actually watch the turn from the last opponent. I'll have a chat with Slitherine and see what we can do.

Cheers,

Thanks for the reply.

So does this mean that there is no way to see the results of my opponents final turn in a async multiplayer game? If not that is something I would ask to be added to the list of improvements.

Like I mentioned in my post, it was possible that my opponent was going to attempt a moon landing on the same turn as me so I don't actually know that I won, if he tried and failed or if he didn't try at all.

Anyways thanks again for the reply and the great game.

I have the same issue - is there further development? In Some cases I even don't know why my opponents quit.
