The 4 bests (around 70% of victories)
1: Polack's
2: French in italie wars
3: Earlie Sweden
4: Transylvanian

The 2 worst (less than 40% victorie)
1: Spanish in Italie wars
2: Ottoman

The most equilibrate battle are
Protestant again Spain/Austria
And parlement vs royalist

All vs humans (50 different players)

I don't have the experience you have had (only completed 14 games vs humans). I have to say that I really enjoy the early Swedes and have had some success with them. The one game I played Ottomans, I beat the Poles fairly easily. I'm about 50-50 with Royalists vs Parliament.

I have completed 36 games against humans after game release, and a good number in betatesting, and I have to say I have some disagreements.

1. Poles are no particularly good for me
2. Early Swedish is the best for its period, much better than Poles.
3. French in Italian Wars are rather poor, Spanish are much better, the worst by far are the Italians, and best probably the Swiss.

Hmm I think the French are pretty darn good!
Spanish early list... Got my clock cleaned in MP fighting them... The rodeleros seemed unstoppable, consistently charged by gendarmes and winning ! ( I think perhaps they should be coded as medium foot as heavies get a cohesion bonus when testing....)
Italians hmm, I'm no good with them but fight them w RBS at the helm and suddenly they are deadly

For me the best army is the Poles. Just keep your infantry to the rear and let the Winged Hussars and the super-cheap armoured cossacks do their job. Then when then enemy infantry close the Haiduks will meet them with a wall of fire.

I do disagree with the OP about the turks. I have been most successful with them, and they are the only army I beat the poles with.

People say the swedes are good but I find them variable especially versus the poles.

Of course it all depends on terrain

Agreed that the bug does make large numbers of skirmishers a liability. However, Transylvanian works well (for me) without many light troops.

did you play a new game with the patch??????

I realy don't understand how you have release a patch with such bug.

this patch was not urgent but now we need a new one urgently.....

Yes, of course.

Because we only spotted it after the patch was released.

We will do another patch as soon as we can, but we are competing for Slitherine's schedule so it won't be instant.

I think Weimar is a little bit underrated because of all their LG-equipped pike and shot units with no firepower penalty. They can really shoot it out. Having that advantage at long range can help against pesky hadjuks.
