Typical very small attack-defend skirmish forces?

I played a quick skirmish as the Soviet defender a few nights ago.

I won (defence in depth) and noticed that the German attacker was attacking with about a 3:1 point ratio in their forces. Is that usual? I mean, that's the "typical" attacker:defender ration that gets bandied about as a desired ratio of force when attacking, but wondered if it was usual in the game.

The Soviet commanders at HQ had given me a Maxim HMG, an SU-76, some rifle and SMG squads and a scout. The German attacker trundled onto the board with two King Tigers, a Tiger, an SdK251 and SdK234, a Wirblewind, and a Wurfrahmen 40. Plus a few scattered infantry (and engineers who got out of the wrecked Wurfrahmen (I think).

Sounds about right. I just completed an attack/defend skirmish on a 64x64 wilderness map with large forces. I was the Soviet defender. I thought on a map this size I'm toast. No way to keep three VPs in my control at game end but somehow I managed to win. The German player had at least 3 Tigers, 5 or 6 PzIVs and two Flampanzers, a couple of armored cars plus at least 7 Waffen SS infantryman. I had a JS-2, T-34/85 and a T-70 plus and assortment of infantry. The German also had I suspect a Wespe and Hummel. I had an 82mm mortar and an 76mm AT/Artillery gun. I think I killed all his tanks with my tanks and infantry. Never saw his mobile artillery units. I also killed 6 of the 7 SS troops I was aware of. The bottom three VPs all changed hands more than once but in the end I held all three.
