tutorial mission 1, turn 6 end of turn, all done.... no loses, no points lost, all objectives captured, default trooper layout...

We may have a pretty significant build being deployed soon, so you may want to wait before you continue this mission by mission review. Just a heads up!

middle island is good basic map design with strong points and few entry and exit points, but a missed chance to show what could have been a infantry only battle, as good defences and trenches and builds for cover with little room to manoeuvre so ideal for infantry only action...
all done and tested, again a win.....

on last mission of act 3 again anyway so will hold off posting all the pictures and comments as there was rather a lot of them
nice to have a heads up before i do them all again, as i have the time, and is fun testing anyway, a hobby of mine, more fun than playing i find

I said 'may', I didn't say it was guaranteed to be available to closed BETA testers. I don't make promises I can't keep, but I did want to at least let you know it might be possibly coming as it would have invalidated your mission by mission report here.

ah ok, so you throw me a bone, then may take it away or not at a later date and beat me with it, later or sooner or not at all, i see it like that is it....
fair enough, i'll put the kettle on then, as 3 or 4 more moves and act 3 re done, re tested, if my map reading is as good as normal / ever....
only cheat used, honest

if we don't have the full build, would it be possible to upload the updated data files at least? I see little point in testing further right now (except for testing modifications I made to the unit file).

and as no more beta testers have posted in main, i have to make my self laugh
yes we all make mistake, i wake up, i open my eyes, then later on it all goes down hill, i type, big mistake, thinking should always come before typing, reading only after thinking and not before... and so ends another lesson, bills in the post btw.

well as i can't wait all day and night for what may or may not come, i'll finish off the tutorial upload anyway at least as i'm sure that won't get touched and if it does i'll do a new thread a name it the latest one etc, or something like gold / 1.0 etc

tutorial mission 4, turn 7, by now 4 infantry units and rest are tanks, will stay with this all through the next act's as well, as it is my now default assault force...

i like this one, as the mines are the main targets, and they don't even shoot my infantry right in front of them until mines are destroyed, with my tanks in line behind i roll out and tbh never look back, hordes of Orc's charge my lines, were as i just roll over them, back lines a bit harder as it's a mixed unit with artillery and tanks, but soon sort them out also, 1 infantry lost in Orc rush...

not doing it again just for picture either, thought i'd got it, but pressed to quick and got next screen lol
so all played, and 2 infantry units lost so far, no tanks mind you...
tutorial all done, good at control and set up and teaches the basic's, maps are small and size limits moves you can make,. all objectives are easy to take way before times runs out, so all in all well done, plenty of money to spend and glory to be had...
plenty entertaining and fun to be had for any level of ability, like all tutorials, once seen and played, no replay value... as maps are scripted and you are lead into what you are doing, so little to no choices offered...
random ones would have been better, but a lot harder to do, but with this size of maps and forces, with given money and units etc, doable.....

will edit tomorrow and add details, as it's late and maybe tomorrow latest version will be updated / uploaded so can re test that, instead of filling these pages with reports that by now maybe too late to do anything with anyway, but as i have the time, it matter not to me
just a slight niggle here as well,

it's a good idea when options are given, also to give access to the save button, so if a player want to try the other one later, they can, without going down the route of scenario etc, as that way you lose points and glory, with a save button on this page many here would find it very useful, as i would....
