I really think the volume of the sound effects turns quiet way too soon when zooming out. Most of the time I am playing zoomed out just a bit, enough to see a good portion of the area, and I can barely hear the sound effects, often not at all. I have to zoom in pretty darn close in order to hear them well.

Please, please adjust the sound effects volume so we can still hear them when zoomed out at a playable level. If we want to turn the sound effects down, there is a slider for that.

Don't punish us because we are zooming out to get a good view of the battle by not letting us hear the sound effects.

Thought the same thing. As soon as you reach the later and bigger campaign stages you'll want to play zoomed out pretty much all the time which means: No sound effects. I don't like that.

again like other slight errors mentioned, not seen it myself, but will be looked at and sorted same as anything else

Hopefully there is only slight adjustment because I really like the idea. Reminds me of Combat Mission.

It is always a fine line what to correct in a patch and what not. One person likes the sound how it is now, the other wants it as it is.
We will see what we can come up with.

Thank you, Galangalad. That is why there is a volume slider, for the folks who don't want to hear the sound effects. Those who do should be able to. As it is right now, we are not able to.

It is a bug in my opinion, the sound effects volume is set to cut out way too soon. I sure hope you will consider upping the sound effects volume. As it is now, I am playing a game without sound effects, and that annoys the heck out of me.

I hear you, jack54. In Combat Mission, I can still zoom out pretty far and still hear the sound effects. This game nearly just cuts them off as soon as you zoom out a few notches.

We'll make some tweaks in the next update to improve the sound effects!

We've had a slight delay on this patch unfortunately, sorry about this. What we plan to do now is have the patch ready next week and it should also include skirmish mode
