Has anyone else noticed that in this scenario that the Parliamentarian All pike blocks can charge the Veteran Cavaliers but not the Std Cavaliers. Got to 24% Royalist casualties but my Pike couldn't do anything about the std Cavlaiers as they were not allowed to charge them. One pike block did hold up the Veteran one by charging it. Is this a bug??

You mean the siege of Bristol?

I am sure that there is no bug that could allow them to charge Veteran cavaliers but not standard ones. The script that determines whether they can charge does not know what quality the enemy mounted are.

Pike blocks start as keils, so they can charge mounted, but they cease to be keils after suffering a certain number of casualties. (When they get down to about 2/3 strength). That might be the reason, or it might have been something to do with priority targets.

Sorry got the name wrong. I will look out for that next time I play to see how far down the casualties are when attempting to have a go at the Royalist cavaliers.
