Can this be played with one computer, players taking turns or only via server? Thanks

Yes you can play BA2 in hotseat mode. In the ...my documents\my games\ba2 folder, create a text file names user.txt. Inside that file place the following line

ALLOWMPHOTSEAT 1

this will allow you to play a game in hotseat. Create a new battle, type in a password, find the challenge and accept it, type in your password and away you go...

You actually don't need the tweak in BA2 Just select on of your own games and play away. It will pop up a warning the first time just to let you know what you are doing.
