Hi guys, I'm very excited for the release date being announced but do you have an idea of when it would be available for IOS?

panzer corps for pc was released in 2011 however the ipad edition come out in 2013
i think we won't see armageddon on ipad until next year

Agreeded, although I hope it is at least in the spring.

Armageddon has been coded cross-platform from the ground up, so porting it to iOS will be much easier than in case of Panzer Corps. However, at this point we cannot give any specific release date, all I can say is that iOS version is definitely coming.

When both platforms have been released is it envisaged that they will be able to interact?

Yes absolutely. Our multiplayer system is cross platform. For example Battle academy is available on PC, Mac and iOS and all platforms can play versus each other multiplayer.
