Is there anyway to get systray for work for Pike&Shot to provide turn notifications as an alternative or supplement to email? I've been very happy with it for FoG PC and I believe it was also updated to support Battle Academy but it does not seem to work for P&S.

P&S (and BA2) use a newer version of the PBEM++ system which the current tray tool doesn't support. Updating to support the newer games is on my wishlist, but the latest item on my wishlist is to purchase a larger notebook to fit my wishlist...

I use this tool at times for war in the east and I dod have battle academy through Steam. However, it doesn't recognize the turns from my opponent through Steam. Is this normal since the program is on another program (Steam)

The system doesn't (afaik) know which version the user has. Can you give an example where you don't think turns are being shown? Note that BA2 won't show up on the Tray Tool as I have not had time to update it to the v2 of the PBEM system.

Hi Pip,

I am playing three multiplayer games from two different opponents using Steam and playing the original Battle Academy. I loaded the sys tray tool into my toolbar and it showed no games ready. However, let me check to see if I need Steam running first? If I have Steam running first it doesn't take me long to start up the game. However, i do believe I checked the sys tray already.

Hmmm - it may be an issue from the fact that the tool was written before we did Steam versions. Perhaps because it cannot find a serial it is not connecting the games.
