Hello Mechwarrior15,

Please send me a private message and let me know which screen resolution you're running the game on.

Cheers,

Hello,

I've got absolutely the same issue with Steam version.
When trying to use "assemble now" for 1st launch of Soviet R7+ Sputnik, getting the black screen.

My screen resolution is 1440 x 900.

Attached SPM output log and Dxdiag.txt
If there is anything else to be sent, I'll be glad to provide it.

However, it's a bit disappointing to buy the game and not to be able to launch even the 1st mission :?

Hope this black screen bug will be fixed soon.

I am also having the black screen appear after using the Assemble Now button since updating to the 1.1 patch via Steam, I was playing in 1600x1024 resolution. I changed to 1600x1050 and that solved my problem.

Same issue...glad to see there's been no response for over a year from the game developer! How wonderful customer service is these days. Absolutely pathetic!

have you tried changing resolutions to see if it fixes the problem?

as i have no information from you, no logs or dxr files upload, so just guessing here tbh
Welcome to the Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager Tech Support forum.

If you are having an issue with the game then first let us apologise. Be assured we'll do all we can to get you up and running. Please try and follow these posting guidelines to enable us to most quickly solve it.

* Always start a new thread for a new issue
* Please include the version and build information seen in the middle at the bottom of the main menu screen.
* Provide details of your machine (operating system, CPU, video card) - sending the DirectX diagnostics as explained below handles all this for you.
* What problems do you see. E.g. which screen you are looking at, which buttons did you press to repeat the problem. How does the game go wrong.
* A Directx Dialog file - see below for instructions on how to generate a Directx Dialog file.

How to get a Directx Dialog file:

1. click on "START" (on Windows 8 Press "Windows Key" + "R" )
2. click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8 )
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. open the text file, copy the contents, and post along with your issue.

All these issues were resolved in a big patch two weeks after release, sometime around mid-November 2014. Players shouldn't have been experiencing any problems, especially with the latest versions. That being said, if you run into issues, please open a thread and I'll look into into it.

Cheers,
