Arriving flank marchers

A very quick clarifying question please.

Page 153 of 2.0 rulebook (print) states that battle groups within 6 MUs of the point of arrival of enemy flank marchers obey a number of rules. Since in the preceding paragraphs on the same page, a distinction is seemingly made (if you read the way it is written) between the arrival and movement (which is a double move if driven back and 1 or 2 if not), my question is whether the above "6 MUs rule" is applied from the point of initial arrival (i.e. the table side egde) or the final point after the first movement is made that turn?

Thanks in advance.

From the point of arrival. So, if any bg is 6.0000000001" from the edge then they are safe, and outflankeds would have to comply with second and third moves (i.e. only get a second move if they stay outside of 6")

Consider that fast moving lighthorse would be more terrifying than dismounted knights of it was after their first move.

Thank you. Makes sense.
