Are these battle results correct or is there a bug causing these results?

I charged a unit with my cavalry with a POA of 1 whilst the attacked unit had a POA of 0. Both had 4 dice, I scored 3 hits whilst the dice for the unit I attacked where 6,6,5,6 which came up as 5 hits.

I have just also had this situation. My Superior, Heavy Armour Knights with Lance and Sword charge medium bows in the open. My Knights had POA of 2 with 4 dice and threw 4,4,3,6 which resulted in 4 hits. The medium foot had a POA of 0 with 4 dice which scored 4,3,6,1. I expected this to be 2 hits, but it came back as 3 hits. I have a screen capture of this result.

I see no-one has replied to this, I also have had many instances where the % breakdown did not look right. For example, two battlegroups of Armoured heavy foot, both steady, Heavy weapon, no casulaties but mine are Superior to my opponenets Average; so I should be showing as ahead. Instread it shows 30% for me, 45% for opponent, likely hits 2.33... and 2.66...

Tha actual combat ended up with me suffering 5 (yes FIVE) hits.

if you're attacking an archer/xbow unit, it can have 2 additional rolls on impact (1 additional roll if it has internal archer/xbow support), so you can conceivably get hammered with 6 hits.

Thanks for the swift reply. I have had other apparent oddities where identical troops had different success rates, I see now it is tyhe shooting attacks before impact.

So the second rank of the Swedish Militia Heavy foot are actually Medium?

As the manual says 6 attacks for Foot supported by Medium Foot with Missile weapons.

if the unit counter shows 2 archers/xbowmen, then it is medium missile support; one means light missile support.
