One of the weaknesses of BA1 was the LOS, that creates very illogical situations.
BA2 with a two levels seems to have the same incompressible LOS system.
The BT7 , on the image, can see on B and C but not A and D.

Now BT7 can see/fire the engineers on A but no on B tile.
The hill is near symmetrical, just C is a first level tilem and D is a slope to first level tile.

Thanks for the examples, I will take a look. B in the first pic is the real puzzler!

Maybe the slope in D is throwing the algorithm off?
