Renaissance special rules
1.No battle troops with musket/musket*.
2.Any heavy artillery used must be the first battlegroup(s) deployed followed immediately by any medium artillery used.

usual story of not all lists in I'm afraid.

Please note -
"re parking at the Town Hall. This year there will be slightly fewer parking
spaces behind the Town Hall due to building work. There will still be approx
50 spaces behind the Town Hall and 20 spaces in front on the Town Hall.
There is also street parking around the church and as a last resort there is
a pay and display 200 yards away at the Travel Lodge Hotel that is £3 all
day. We don't think this should cause any problems for the 60 teams that are
attending but it would be helpful for people to car share where ever
possible. We are also told that we will NOT have to fill out parking permits
for everyone this year."

What are the times - check in and the games?

Registration 8.30-9am . First game at 9.30am

Thanks to the Burton Club for a great weekend and to our four opponents (Phil and Janson, David and Clive, John and Lee and finally but not lest Steve and Graham) for four great games even if we lost the last one.

Dene may be smiling but that will change when he realises that Andy has nicked his watch

Well thanks as always to the organisers and our opponents who all played in a great spirit.

We accept we submarined all the way to the top!.

A great first game against Marc and Graham's Serbs saw us totally out deployed and out played for a sobering 3-17 defeat.

Ade and Andy's Sicilians then obliged us by falling on their swords with 2 minutes to spare thanks to some outrageous dice - usual thing they shoot 7 dice against my disrupted LH and miss! I shoot 2 dice against 6 MF bowmen and take them fragged etc.. and a flank collapses.

Graeme and Bob's Catalans did nothing wrong but Graeme's six hour round trip to Durham and back on the Saturday night/Sunday morning to play in a cancer fundraising gig probably didn't help.

That left a final game against Chris and Dave's Lithuanians. Both sides went for it and we managed to get the better of a knight on knight duel.. followed up by some fortunate shooting.
