As far as the support thing for squares is concerned, this is what we used in the recent tournament in Melbourne....I'm pretty sure this is correct.

Flank and Rear Support for Squares

Shooting
- Squares can both give and receive support shooting.
Combat
- Squares can give rear support if they are within 1MU.
- They cannot receive rear support.
- They can both give and receive flank support.

With the shooting, the facing that is in the direction of the attack is used. The same for the flank support in combat.
