Russian words are read from left to right!!! Here is some mirroring turned out (note the turret of the tank KV-2). must be - "ЗА РОДИНУ!"

It may be a technical limitation of the 3D object engine; the "skins" that are put on the tanks are mirror-imaged about their horizontal axis, at least, they were in BA1 and I suspect this has not changed.

I wrote "Home by XMAS" on an American Sherman in BA1 to add easter-egg-like detail to one of my scenarios. Unfortunately on the other side of the tank it said: "SAMX yb emoH" which to me (ironically perhaps) looked like Russian, hehe.

Anyway, on that tank you are looking at, did you rotate 180 degrees of the view and look at the other side of the turret for the same writing?

Yes it is a texture issue and not one that's solvable without increasing the amount of memory used on the units which causes all sorts of knock on issues. The options were to either have it like this or no text at all and we felt it as better to get it in but mirrored on one side.
