More Help with PBEM

Hello All:

Just started my first PBEM and it's kinda exciting. I never get much out of playing the AI. Waiting for those turns, etc. creates a whole other experience.

While waiting for a turn is it possible to open up the previous opponent's turn and review it again. Could also use this to familiarize myself more with the map, my units, etc.

Thanks,

Gerry

Maybe you misread my post? As I was just asking if it is possible.

I was congratulating you on starting to play multiplayer, lol. It is additional well-worth-it experience.

I don't think there is a way to review a previous turn after you've sent to your opponent..

Thanks! That one went over my head.

I have 2 games right now, one in Barbarossa and one in Bagration. The only wargames I can play are those that allow PBEM so I think this is a big advantage for BA. Some new games only allow play on a server.

Regrettably you can't review the map when it's not your turn. But here's two (admittedly less effective) ideas.

1. Play two games of the same scenario at once. At least you get to see the map and what you learn from being (say) Axis in one game can be applied in the other.

2. Take screen shots and pore over them. Cumbersome but it does help remember where that 88 was hidden...

I think they invented the "PIN" option for this, hee hee
