This is really neat, how do you get these pictures to start with, I have never seen this type of view when playing any of the battles. And does this also go for Battle Academy? Really cool!!

I like this view a lot except for the troops who look like hobbits.

And for some strange reason I thought I read that Slitherine did not support the view? But it is in the game so I didn't understand that.

Thanks for posting.

Elite PIII ausf.M and a stolen KV1 that is almost elite (91% there). PIIIs and StuGs are my favorite flavor of German armor even though they aren't considered as "sexy" as their more famous cousins.

It is not a view which the assets can really support, and was put in for test really. But during beta people seemed to enjoy it so we left it in. As has been seen it can give some interesting shots, but things like the infantry are clearly not built to be viewed from that distance/angle :)

Cheers

First of all, thanks to MikeAP for starting this post and giving me the tip about how to get these pics. I am somewhat new to computer war gaming and am learning a lot. I have started to play my games, against AI, using this view, as to me, it gives a more realistic feel than viewing positions overhead. Nothing like seeing those tanks come out of the woods straight at you!
