Different unit textures editor and in game

I've notice a strange thing since the release of BA2. Some units (more than those shown in the examples below) got different textures when I work in the editor than I got when playing the scenario. This was not the case in the EAP versions.
And yes, I've chosen the textures I want to have in the editor, but even stranger is that the in game textures can't be chosen in the editor. I'd like to keep the editor textures in the game.

I seem to remember they are activated when you connect to the server for the first time with the full BA2, may be there a way to disable it if you want to retain the original look.

Maybe I could install the EAP again and copy the unit textures into a new texture folder in the full game? But if the textures are there in the editor they must be somewhere in the full game?

Yes this is the EAP reward. Anyone who pre-ordered the game gets cooler textures!

Does my opponent see the different texture, too? Just think of the intimidation factor.

I believe so - your units should have their elite paint schemes in both SP (on your machine) and in MP (on both machines).
