Have a new pike army question!
I know how hoplites are mounted but how about peltasts?
2 or 3 to a stand?

You would ask an easy one wouldn't you
The short answer is it depends.
The long answer is that strictly pletasts should really be light foot and hence 2 to a 40 by 20 (60 by 30 in 28mm) base BUT a lot of people think of peltasts as medium foot especially Thracians and some others. Thracians are indeed medium foot so 3 or 4 to a base (probably 3 because that is what most people will have). Iphikratean peltasts are also medium foobut probably best 4 to a base.
