Question about supplying amphibious invasions

Hi all

I have land 2 inf corps and a Garrison in Norway but they are all out of supply so it doesn't look like i'll ever take Oslo.

Is there any way i can get at least some supply to these troops? I think i read somewhere about your Naval units helping but how does that work?

Alternatively how best to attack Norway? What i have done so far is attack Nor/Den at the same time - took Copenhagen and then invaded near Oslo with an Infantry Corps. Trouble is you can't land next to Oslo so can't attack it until the following turn?

Finally, is there a unified Manual?

Many thanks

Here's a link to a post that I did a few years back on a strategy for capturing Norway in 1939. I believe it's still relevant: viewtopic.php?f=78&t=30005#wrap

With respect to supplying troops from the coast, you need to park a BB, DD or CV naval unit adjacent to a coast hex and have a line of uninterrupted controlled hexes from the coast hex to the units you want to supply. This works for both amphibious invasions or for units cut off from supply.

With respect to a manual there's quite an extensive manual and other valuable playing aids that come with this game or which can be downloaded. Check out this thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=34539
