"Arena.exe has encountered a problem & needs to close", it than takes me back to the desk top.
I think the installation goes ok, last night this meesage appeared for the first time during the installation:-

Sorry you're having problems Keith. Have you installed DirectX 9.0c and checked you have the latest drivers for your grahics card?
I've recently heard there is a problem with WinXP Service pack 2, in that it fails to update DirectX properly. If you have SP2 installed let me know and I'll try and find out what Microsoft suggest to get round the bug in their software......

You may want to check to see if the full game is installing. I had a problem where it wasn't, and I also got the autorun message during installation.

Hi Keith,
If you want the latest drivers for your graphics card, you should check out the website of the manufacturer. To find out the make of your card, right click on the desktop and choose properties->Settings. It should show you the make in the Display area after the details of your monitor.
Regards,
Ste

Sorry you're having problems. Can you tell me exactly what you see before it crashes and which button you pressed or what you did?
Are you sure you have the latest drivers for you card, as these are updated regularly. When did you last update & what card do you have?
DirectX has a bug where it tells you 9.0c is intalled but sometimes it isn't. Can you run dxdiag.exe and tell us the version number it displays for DirectX.

Similar thing happens to me, but it just crashes with no error messages once you start a campaign. However its probably because i only have 192MB ram tho, hah.
The demo worked fine for me though.

If you can check all the things in my message above (DX, drivers and when exactly it crashes) we'll try and sort you out.
