Enhanced AI in Co-op Skirmishes

My friend and I are primarily playing BA2 - EAP with co-op PBEM, both Skirmishes and the Campaign. One thing we noticed is if we are playing either our AI setting isn't necessarily synchronized. What I mean by this is: I created a Skirmish co-op game with Enhanced AI selected in my game options. While playing his turn, my friend will see it as Standard AI in his setting (the default). Is this a bug? Does the AI setting only get "read" when the game is initially created by the host? Is it ignored in co-op games? I'm curious if this is correct and how the AI setting works when playing in co-op, either in Skirmish or Campaign. Thanks.

Hmm - I didn't think there was variable AI settings in BA2! I will check it out.

Cheers

Thanks Pip. To elaborate somewhat, from the main menu of BA2 if you click on Options (wrench icon) in the upper left, then Advanced Options (bottom right), the first listing on the right is "AI:" and this can be set to either Standard or Enhanced. I set mine to Enhanced. I then created a co-op Skirmish multiplayer game. When in my turn, if I go to the same spot (there's an Options choice while playing your turn in the upper left), I show "AI: Enhanced." If my friend does the same thing while in his turn, he sees "AI: Standard." This goes for whether we are in a co-op Skirmish or Campaign mission.

That led us to wonder if the setting does anything at all in cooperative games? Is it only read/applied at game creation based on the host's setting? Is it only used in solo/single player games? Is it not used at all? That's what we were wondering.

I've looked in to it and there is no problem. The Advanced AI button is actually a UI holdover - it's not connected to anything! :) So I have removed the button. Thanks for helping us catch it!
