I have a laptop. I want to take it on extended holiday with me and I want to be able to continute to play multiplayer BA2 while I am away. How can I download BA2 to my laptop? I didn't think to back up the original download.

Only until Monday 08/25 when the file will be removed pending the official release on September 13th.

If you email support@slitherine.co.uk with your order details you should be able to get a new download link without issue.

Those of us who purchased the EAP will presumably be given instructions on how to download the final BA2 at no charge.

Will BA2 be available as an app and do EAP purchasers have to pay again for the iOS version?

Correct - we will provide instructions to EAP users on how to get the release version at launch, as well as turning on your exclusive bonuses.

BA2 will indeed have an iOS version (though probably not at launch). We are not able to cross-link the various different versions, so you will indeed need to purchase it separately.

Generally, how does one go about changing/recovering computers and reinstating favourite software when there are no discs involved? For what it's worth I am having a night mare with Microsoft even where there are discs involved.

There is unfortunately no shortcut really. There is a way to transfer a windows installation from machine to machine (systemprerp IIRC) but then you lose all the advantages of a clean Windows install. I am going to be upgrading my machine(s) shortly and I confess I am not looking forward to having to reinstall all my tools!
