To give an idea of what can be achieved with these rules,as mentioned we've just finished 3rd at the Burton doubles Themed Storm of Arrows(High Medieval)
Not wanting to get involved in pike on pike action etc I went for a very different Condotta list:- 6BG's ( 4'S) Knights 2 undrilled superior 4 drilled average,5 BG LF (6'S) 2 firearm,2crossbow,1 bow, 3BG LH (4's)2 crossbow ,1 bow and 1 BG MF (6) skilled swords with the addition of an IC,FC and 2 TC.
The plan was to skirmish and break up any protected BG and put the knights where needed,we also used a flank march in 3 out of 4 games.
We ended up with 1 draw against French ordance 1 nearly disaster against same led by eventual winner Bruce Brown and 2 wins by breaking the opposition 100yrs war English and Low Countries
The skirmishers were responsible for at least 3-4 BG killed in each game (apart from the 1st that was 2 dead each)
