On the Roman campaign, Ambush at Cypsela. I've played 10 odd times, over half of them I've routed the blues, defeated in others words, but still I fail the mission. Have less than 200 casualties. What do I have to do, kill them all, wait till every little blue dot is of the screen, help.....

what did you end up doing to win the battle?
I'm having the same problem, i route their army and the timer just counts down to 0, i lose

It is probably the leader, or a unit that has been surrounded and mostly broken down by reds, but not destroyed. It doesnt always show up if the indivdual soldiers are spread across the screen.

Normally one those eradicate the enemy ones if its not giving you a win, you've prolly missed their general who is sat right at the top of screen hiding... (what a coward), so just hunt him down. I normally send a unit way out to the flank and behind the enemy troop which will straight away hammer their general, and then proceed to attack from the rear, that way you'll avoid any nasty incidents with their general waiting you out, etc.
