Greetings!

If I purchase BA2 early access program, do I need to have the base or current BA game, or is this strictly standalone? (Appears to be standalone, but wanted to confirm before purchasing).

Also, is it possible to install on multiple laptops? I'd like to install on both work and personal laptops, would I need to purchase the game for each PC I want to use it on?

BA and BA2 are two totally separate games. You do not need BA to install BA2.

You do not need BA1 to install or run BA2. As Morge stated they are seperate products. You can install on multiple machines without requiring re-purchase provided they are only for your own use and you are not running more than one copy of the game on different machines at any one time.
