The Rus in FoG

The locals are starting to play FoG in 15mm (which so far seems the scale of choice). The only 15mm army I have from 'back in the day' is the Rus army that I campaigned under WRG 7th and DBM. We may not have had a lot of success, but we had fun which is presumably what matters. But there is no sign of a supplement containing a Rus list. I would guess that the spearmen would be rated as defensive spearmen (armored? protected?) and the bows would be unprotected light foot. All would be average. The druzhina would be mounted infantry (if that's relevant), superior armored with heavy weapons-I guess. Does anyone out there have any ideas on the whole subject? The rest of the gang is pulling out Carthaginian, Republican ROman and Alex armies and I'd like to get in on the fun ASAP.
TIA

There are no mounted infantry in FoG (it is assumed that the mouts are left at deployment) so the Druzhina are likely to be either superior armoured offensive spear or they can be mounted as average armoured cavalry lightspear swordsmen.
The mass of spearmen are likey to be protected offensive spear. Where an army is mostly spearmen then making them defensive spear is a bit harsh as it is difficult to win with just defensive spear.
Archers will be in independent BGs, there is apparently little evidence of the DBM style mixed formation.
Rus will be done in the darg ages book but that is likely to be a little while away as it is not one of the first seven books scheduled.

There's no longer the option of arming the druzhina with two-handed axes? I've thought that at least in the 10th century (I focus on the reign of Sviatislav) that the druzhina still used the axe because it was the traditional weapon of bodyguards. I gather that tribal light cavalry (Pechenegs, Bulgars and the like) are all unprotected bow. The double-armed light horse is a thing of the past? What about BG sizes.
Thanks again for the help

At the moment the draft list does not include the option for two handed axes for the druzhina. That doesn't mean it won't be there and any suitable references you may be able to find could well swing things that way.
The light horse are bow swordsmen
BG sizes are as you might expect, nothing really huge, nothing really small.
I can't go into too much more detail without upsetting JD

In the appropriate forum one may beg to differ, but only maybe ...

In a similar vein, will the Lamtuna Fanatic Berbers be OS too ? I assume the rank & file Berber foot will be DS ?
Cheers

Quite likely I think.
