Just got my copy, only to discover its not a CD but a DVD

Fortunately one of my machines has a DVD, but when I try to play I can see the units, but no background, they just sit on a Black grond with no detail. At fisrt I thought it was the fog, but it does not shift. I will need to wait till Monday to get our techies to sort my drivers out

I think that people with ATI cards have problems. Firaxis released a fix for this...

My guys have checked this out.

Becuase the machine I have which has the DVD drive has an on board graphics card which does not have T&L (texture and lighting) the problem cannot be fixed.

My options are new card, if I can get one to work, or a new PC :x
