Question for Slitherine

I've ordered from Amazon UK and have now been told (like many others) that the delivery date will be late feb/ early march.
If I now order from Slitherine will they be able to ship a copy in the next day or so?
Thanks
Mike

I think it is unlikely that switching your order to Slitherine will get you the rules very rapidly. You may be better contacting some of the smaller games retailers. I have read that ID games have copies and suspect that Sprit games and Leisure games may also have stock.
If you are going to cancel your Amazon order make sure you check with an alternative supplier that they have stock.

My order via Amazon USA just shipped 6 days early, I suggest that maybe you hold on for a day or so first, looks like they are getting their stocks opened up.
cheers

According to Amazon UK if you order within the next 8 hours you can have the rules tomorrow!!
However my pre-order is still showing March 4th-20th?
It must make sense to someone.

I placed my order with Amazon on 1st January, have paid extra for 1st class shipping and STILL it has not even been despatched.
Oh it does say that despatch date will be the 12th or 13th February which seems unlikely
I am sure the rules will be worth it when they arrive, but I have to say the logistics have been handled very poorly. Never mind not the end of the world, much worse if they turned up on your doorstep a day early and were rubbish!!

While I am all in favor of giving the slitherine Lords a hard time.
it must be said that the eager anticipation, the successful pre-marketing have raised expectations a good deal. These difficulties are not anything different than say Apple and iPod, the hybrid automobiles, the CD, the Model-T or any number of eagerly anticipated products.
So while the Slith lords are evil I think people are frothing at the mouth a bit much over logistics.
-- No I haven't gotten my rules either.

I avoided the angst by not ordering any in advance

Mine shipped tonight, should be with me on Saturday.
Shipping effectively slipped a week. Is that terrible.... No not really. But it is annoying
