Hi,
I've always wondered do more durable chariots reduce your maximum speed of a team?
I've played since Beta and love this game. I'm an old Circus Maximus fan from Avalon Hill, so this is right up my alley. Well done.

My observation says that heavier chariots reduce *acceleration*, not top speed.

That would make sense. I assume the reverse would be true then, as well. Lighter chariots would allow increased acceleration. More strategies to play with. Thanks for the answer.
Is it my imagination, or do the grey horses (Two speed, one endurance) seem to accelerate and maintain a faster top speed than the brown horse (Two speed, two endurance) It seems obvious the brown horses have better endurance, but just wondering if anyone else noticed this, or it was my imagination.

There are no negative consequences when acquiring better equipment. That means a heavy chariot will not reduce acceleration compared to a light one. The acceleration is given by the other upgrade, chariot quality. This is the only upgrade regarding acceleration, horse teams determine you maximum top speed.
