Hi I bought Pandora a week or 2 ago of Steam and it stopped working after 6 hours due to a runtime error problem then it progressively got worse no matter what I did to the point that when it's not responding the mouse turns to a loading icon and the play button turns blue for a brief second but nothing else happens, there's no not responding window there's no loading screen, it just stays at the opening screen.

Could you please attach a DxDiag report file?

Here is my DxDiag. thank you for your help much appreciated.

Open the folder where you've installed the game, find a folder named "Binaries" and open it. (default: Steam\SteamApps\common\Pandora\Binaries)

Locate and select a file named "Pandora.exe". Press the right mouse button and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab. Tick the option "Run this program as an administrator".
Click on "Apply" and "Ok". Double click on "Pandora.exe" for running the game. Do you receive any error message?

I tried doing this but when I double clicked Pandora.exe It only got as far as the steam window which said launching pandora, then I tried it again and window came up saying do i want to allow it permission and I said but nothing more happened, then I tried it a third time and I got a message saying:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pandora\Binaries\Pandora.exe

File system error (-1073741502).

Please do the following:

1. Uninstall the game
2. Delete the folder: C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME_ACCOUNT>\AppData\Roaming\Proxy Studios\Pandora
3. Install the game again
4. Run the game

If issue persists, please attach your game log files.
The log files are located at:
C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME_ACCOUNT>\AppData\Roaming\Proxy Studios\Pandora\Logs

I tried this but when I ran Pandora and pressed the play button the mouse turned into a loading icon and it rook half an hour for a not responding window to pop up saying:

Game Menu is not responding

If you close the program, you might lose information.

Close program

Wait for the program to respond

So I clicked Wait for program to respond and am still waiting for the program to respond. Then when I went to get the log files it said:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Proxy

Windows cannot find ‘C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Proxy’. Make sure you’ve typed the name correctly, then try again.

So I could find the logs either.

What's the name of your account when logging to Windows? Is it User?

What's your anti-virus?
Please disable temporarily your security programs and run the game.

Yes my windows account name is User. Norton anti virus. Ok I'll try that.

I tried running in safe mode for setup of my computer and I tried with disabled anti-virus. The disabled anti-virus had no effect but when I ran it in safe mode it came up with the usual response of microsoft c++ visual library, which I suppose is better then the nothing that was previously coming up but I was wondering is there anyway to fix it.

Try the following:

Uninstall the game and reinstall it in a different folder than C:\ Program Files (x86)\.... Install the game instead in a folder like for example C:\ Games\....
