Exiting buildings

I am sure this has come up before but still want so me opinions out there.

Those sneaky Francais types like to exit a building by leaving only one base in rear contact or partial base in contact with the building. I can't recall if there was a restriction or not on how much of your unit has to be touching the side edge of the building when you exit it. I would think the whole unit has to be in rear contact as that makes the most sense to me, French would say otherwise I just haven't called them on it lately.

The French always cheat. How else do you explain Napoleon's empire?

You should cry Shenanigans against those sneaky garlic eaters.

From the Building faq (bold added):

"A unit leaving a building either voluntarily or through an outcome move will end its move in tactical formation with as much of its rear edge touching the building as possible. If their position is blocked by friends they can slide sideways to be placed adjacent to them, in which ever direction leaves them with more of their rear edge touching the building. If there is no position that fulfils this requirement, they will pass through any blocking friendly unit(s) causing a cohesion test on them. If the unit is making an outcome move, it measure its movement distance from this point."
