There has been some talk that there might be a Beta has there been anything official on that yet?

Good to see they are still working on this. With all the expansions to Panzer Corps, i was wondering if they would still manage to release this year.

So any news on the game release date or maybe beta date? there is no news at all

In a post i read on the panzer corps forum, Ian mentioned that they are working towards complying with a contracted deadline for the release of Armageddon.

I guess that when they bought the license from GW, they committed to release it by XX date and will lose the license if they don't release by then. Hopefully that means:
a. Not too many further delays; and
b. They release a complete (non-buggy) version of the game.

Slitherine are pretty good with releasing non-buggy games, so i'm not too worried about b., but with time pressures who knows...?

I've heard from somewhere that GW will release a new armageddon expansion for tabletop game around October
Maybe they want slitherine to release this game before that deadline?

There are rumors on a new 40K starter set this fall. The popular opinion is that it will be some chapter of Space Marines vs. the Orks. The battles for Armageddon would fit right into that.

Orks are really hot in 40K right now. They just got their first new Codex since 5th edition. I played against an ork army on Tuesday even.

Currently reading Angel of Fire,1st book of Macharian Crusade by William King from Black Library ,the characters were driving in a Baneblade and assaulting a HiveCity, every now and then the novel will mention certain vehicles of the Imperial Army and I will just lookup into the wallpaper and visualize the titanic clash of armour beasts .....it just makes me want to play this game so badly....pls tell me its gonna be release soon

Haha! I'm deliberately steering clear of all things related to WH40k at the moment exactly for that reason.

been waiting since they announced they are working on this game. Really hope someone like maybe Iain or whoever can give a approximation date for game release or even beta, would be very grateful

I agree, it is getting kind of quite around here. This has even made the news over at DakkaDakka too. It would be nice if there was at least some news...

Well over on the Panzer Corps forum it was mentioned that all work on the Panzer Corps patch had been put on hold until WH 40k was done so they appear to be straining to finish it. Sound like Slitherine bit off a bit too much .

The beta is coming close. Expect some news in the coming weeks.

The developers on this game are Flashback Games and the Lordz Games Studio, which is the same as for Panzer Corps so the team are working on this for now. More work on Panzer Corps when they've finished Armageddon but this is the priority at the moment.

One question: How can I sign up for the Beta?
