I know that those of you who have pre ordered directly from Slitherine will be pleased to hear that the initial consignments are now at our warehouse, and are scheduled to SHIP IMMEDIATLY!

We are processing the orders and aim to get these dispatched over the next few days. Consequently we will no longer be distributing beta rules or army lists as these are now redundant and superseded by the final versions.

On behalf of the entire Field of Glory ™ team (which you may be surprised to learn runs to several dozen people), we would like to thank you for your collective support, goodwill, wisdom and sound common sense. If the gaming system proves to be as successful as we believe it will be, then a large chunk of the credit must go to you, the gamers and testers. Your feedback and play balancing have been fundamental in bringing Field of Glory ™ to this stage.

Your incredible depth of historical knowledge and ability to spot the cracks never ceases to amaze us.
We now look forward to developing the system and providing you with all the support that we can over the coming years, so keep the feedback coming and let us know what you would like to see included on the Field of Glory website www.fieldofglory.com

A sincere thank you and watch out for further announcements !

That's great!

And does that mean that those of us in the States are having our pre-orders shipped to us also? And if so, any idea how long it will take to get my grubby little hands on my copy.

Thanks

Peter

When I saw the title of this thread on the home page I thought that someone was talking about naval elements.

Instead we have the great news that the non Australians among us will have the chance to get their paws on the rules real soon now.

Let's hope Amazon get their stocks soon too and that everyone will have the real thing in their hands.

Congratulations to JD and all the rest of the team for getting the rules finished and shipping.

A few more ideas for the website:

Opponent finder:

Clubs where you can play the game:

Player biographies: start with the authors, post one a month or so

Bugger! I thought this thread was going to be about a naval supplement. Looking forward to the rules though.

Good suggestions, particularly the gallery. My only exceptions are

I don't think we should be given free lists as samples. Just telling us what lists will be in upcoming books will be sufficient; and that's already done.

No.

Does this mean that just the rulebook has shipped or have the first two army books shipped as well?

I pre-ordered both the rulebook, as well as Rise of Rome and Storm of Arrows, and am wondering if they will all come in one package together...

Cheers,

Edward

My store order turned up on Friday (New Zealand). Have read though the rulebook (that doesn't mean to say I understand them fully), now doing up my Swiss army list for NATCON in Christchurch at easter. I do like what I've seen so far want asap.
