Steam version - No 'More Campaigns' button with mods

Hi All,
First post
I've got the steam version of the game, and when trying to use generic mod enabler I can't actually select the mod because there is no 'more campaigns' button where it should be.
Run through:
- Installed game
- Installed GME (included 'Start In' variable)
- Added MOD files to \MOD\ folder (tried three different mods)
- Used GME to snapshot files and move mod files over to active
- Fired up Panzer Corps and selected a new game
At that point I can't select the mod I want to play as the button doesn't appear.
Any tips or help appreciated!
Thanks.

Which mods are you trying to use? Some of the mods, often exactly the ones requiring GME not all tho, replace or modify the start screen and you do start them from start screen where the normal campaigns used to be. You may as well have set the directories wrong somehow but i think even if there are no mods at all in the proper mods folder the button should still be displayed.

Thanks for the reply. I deleted the first two I tried, but I have still got the SS-GTPG mod 'installed'. It specifically requests the use of GME.

It's ages ago since i played the SS-GTPG mod and i don't remember the details anymore but i am downloading the mod atm and will have a look at it. Maybe then i can give you some more advice.
EDIT: This may take a while the download is so slow i may be faster if i run over to the server and carry the bloody bits home one by one.

OK i finally managed to download the mod. It turns out you don't need GME at all to use SS-GTPG. It doesn't overwrite any of the game files but rely totally upon the build in mod support from the game.
To install the mod just unpack the content of the "SS-GTPG Grand Campaign_v1.12.rar" file somewhere. Then copy the folder called "SS-GTPG Grand Campaign_v1.12" into "mods" folder in the directory where Panzer Corps saves it's settings and data. By default on Windows 7 it's located in "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\my games\Panzer Corps". Obviously you need to replace <usersname> with your actual user name on the computer. If you have another version of Windows the path may differ a bit, if in doubt search for it. The content of the folder should look like this:

- mods.jpg (59.7 KiB) Viewed 4006 times
If the "Mods" folder isn't there just create it. Now you are already done. Just start Panzer Corps, click on the now hopefully present folder icon and select the campaign from the list that opens.
In case this still won't work you possibly may have damaged your Panzer Corps installation while experimenting around with GME and the mods. You may want to consider to delete Panzer Corps and to reinstall it fresh. As long you don't touch the folder in your documents you will keep all your settings and save games.

I know I'm very late to this and I don't expect to be responded to but I also have this problem and my campaign does require GME. It doesn't include a more campaigns button and I don't really know what to do. I think a fix could be just finding a campaign that does include it but I don't know of any. If any could be listed I think it may work but any other help would be greatly appreciated.
