Unified Login system?

Is it working for anyone? I've tried it and the ULS only recognizes my Matrixgame credentials. I've already submitted a Help Desk ticket, just curious if its worked for anyone.

p.s. I was going to post the link to the ULS info, but it was flagged as "too spammy". Here is the info from the Members Club area at Matrixgames:
We have created the Unified Login System for all our online websites so you do not have remember a separate password for each of them.

If you are the new user, you just need to create one account here and you will be able to login with it to every website that belongs to the Slitherine Group.

If you are existing user, you can login into the Unified Login system using one of your existing accounts for any of our websites. Then you can merge here other accounts for other our websites together thus creating for yourself one unified login.

That's the first I've heard of this. So, I can sign on here with my Matrix information?

Usually from my CTGW start window, I can go straight to the Matrix forum or hit the Slitherine icon to it's site, no problem, for that matter, can use the Lordz icon to do the same thing.

Hi Steve,

I have already seen your support ticket and have passed the matter to our web admins.

@Tombstone
Once the accounts are merged, you'll be able to login to using the same details in, Matrix, Slitherine and Wargamer.

@All
Anyone who's experiencing login issues, please contact us support[a]slitherine.co.uk.

Well, I am not experiencing 'login issues' per se, I am experiencing frustration though in retention issues.

There is a limit to how long a person will not mind a window popping up to remind me to log in especially when I check the box indicating I wish to be remembered and am not.

This is a Slitherine site issue, it isn't me, or I would be having troubles on the Matrix Games site as well. There site must be using different software as I am not logged out there until such time as I specifically select the function.

I can't claim to know about the Wargamer.com site as I am not a member there.

But here, the site simply will not retain my logged in status on the opening page for My Page, and it never has actually. It's been broken since I first joined quite some time ago (years).

The forum randomly forgets my logged in status as well lately, which is new.

This page illustrated is worthless, it's as broken as the day is long.

This page would be a nice option, if it actually worked, consistently, but it doesn't, because the above image is broken, and thus, getting to this image, is so unreliable, that it is barely worth the effort. Easier to just use bookmarks for the actual site I have elsewhere.

I can understand if you guys are busy, and involved with more pressing concerns, but, this is the gateway to the company page, and it being apparently broken, does tend to send a negative message to anyone that might be new to the site. You really want to direct someone to look into this.

No I don't wish to open a support ticket :)
But I would like to one day actually visit the site, and my log in was actually still logged in :)

Doesn't work anymore, I have merged my accounts, but when I go from the site where it gives me a selection to go to Matrix, Slitherine or Matrix Forums to the respective site, I'm not logged in. EDIT: It works for Matrix, but not for Slitherine and the Matrix Forums at the moment. It seems it's broken at the moment. It's also extremely annoying that you get a popup asking to merge accounts (which I have already done) each time you want to login at Slitherine.

Hello Spillblood,

I think you have contacted us at support, but in case it was not you or in case anyone else wants to know the answer, please see the answer below:
Although the Unified Login currently sets the master password, there are no stored cookies which remember the login across the sites, so unfortunately you do need to log in separately on each site. When I click the Matrix Site link, I am not automatically logged in, so in the case of this site then it may be you were already logged in to the Matrix site prior to using the Unified Login, so the login was still active from an earlier attempt. We do hope to add further integration over time, but there is not yet a confirmed timescale for this.

I think that I'll just keep my separate log-ins. It's much simpler!!
