Hi guys,
What are the most balanced multiplayer scenarios? Which ones are more likely to have each player on edge, right to the last turn, before either one can be confident they will win?

I have not yet played any specifically-multiplayer scenarios, but I would think (from Singleplayer experience) that USA Mid west would be quite good (Tiger IIs vs Pershings!)

It is difficult to judge balanced or not. However, the larger the map the more impact the player skill has. Even more so, the larger the map the more prone to errors and counter-errors you and your opponent will be.
In small scenarios, a single mistake can prove fatal, but in larger ones you have the chance to make up.
So my recommendations are Steamroller against Steal and Hylan Valley.
Dniepr is definitely not balanced (the soviets have nothing to fight the Elephants, and the map is not exactly large)

Cristian

Ok but there must be some good stories where multi player games went to the wire. In other words, which scenarios have people played where this happened?

Maps where bettter player usually win no matter which side:
- Hylan valley
- Steamroller against steel
- War games
Urban warfare slightly favors Allied side but is still very good map. Other maps are little more unbalanced but fun to play occasionally.
