If I try to load the game when I am not connected to a 'live' internet connection more often than not the game will fail to load into the main title screen, however, whenever I have a 'live' internet connection I never fail to load to the main title screen. This could just be a coincidence, but this scenario is very repeatable.

I am running BA on my IPad Air and the crash report in diag suggests the crash happens from the launcher.

I have not yet tried reinstalling the game until seeing what you guys make of the issue.

Hmmm - that is odd. How are you disabling your internet?

I noticed this behaviour when on holiday where there is limited internet connectivity. I only connect through WiFi. In the holiday resort where I am staying there is only one zone where WiFi is available and only for a limited time period. I ALWAYS leave my WiFi setting activated on the ipad, so if I try to load BA in the WiFi zone when I have internet connectivity it always connects cleanly, if I'm in the WiFi zone, but outside the internet connection time zone, BA will crash during loading and if I'm out of WiFi zone it will also crash during loading.

Never had this problem at home, but them I am 100% connected to the internet.

I confess I have not had a chance to look at it. It's almost certain that many players have or do play the game without being connected to the internet, and so I was assuming it was a protocol/wifi specific issue for you on holiday.

I will try and take a look.
