the Online-Gaming Portal www.the-battlefield.com , which is official partner of Slitherine for the german Commander EaW Ladder features a great MATCH-MAKING tool, where you can host or join games and find opponents for Ladders and regular Multiplay Games:

NOTE concerning the confirmation email: Check your spam if it does not arrive. It may be possible to take several games, as we have to activate your account. If nothing happens after some days just drop me a message and i will manually active you.

I tried to join, but the confirmation email to which I need to reply hasn't arrived for 3 days now and didn't end up in te Spam-folder as well.

You know, I have had this problem with a number of german sites in recent years. I register, for the forums or whatever, and the confirmation email never arrives, no matter how many times I re-do the registration.

I wouldn't care to speculate whether the cause is technical or social, but there is sure a pattern.

@bob: i saw that you registered and were added to the playerslist.

btw, an additional information regarding the registration process. we have to "activate you" before you can join the ladder, so if you do not get a direct confirmation email keep cool, we just wanne check the registration.
