Assault Percentages

In various scenarios, but especially noticeable in the Leningrad trench fighting with a lot of assaults, it seems that high % assaults (80s and 90s) are repulsed much too often. Is is possible the odds are not taking into account modifiers for bunkers/pillboxes etc.?

I have verified that the tooltip reporting the percentage uses the same calculation that happens when the assault is performed.

Thank you, good to know it is just a random variation. It would be helpful to have an idea of the factors involved (need not be enormously detailed like the fire calculations - but would like to havea sense of the things that affect the chance before moving adjacent (even if not the number itself, since they are a tricky and volatile affair).

I don't know, I've noticed the same thing throughout the original Battle Academy and the East front version. Assaults that are supposed to be 80% or 90% are repulsed far more frequently than they should be.

I suppose the thing to do is to keep note and get a significant sample size of reported percentage, units, terrain, morale etc. stats and then provide for statistical analysis, or maybe a debug mode allows tracking.
