Bought the Battle Academy mega pack and LOVE it but...so far I get music ONLY, no sound effects, i.e. explosives. Help?

Hmmm - very odd! Have you checked the options to make sure that the SFX volume isn't down? Try adjusting it to see if it makes a difference.

Went ahead and tried a few scenarios... And Voila! Sound FX now. For some reason. I had full SFX on BA Lite but none with 1st of BA Megapack. Not sure... Might have just been with the tutorial. I'll let you know. It's great now. Thanks for the rapid response, PIP!

Again, no sound effects; music plays fine. All other games/programs working fine. Am on the first campaign after tutorial and so far, only 1 battle has had SFX, explosions, etc.; even then, it was spotty, with late sounds, popping/crackling. Playing all sound via Marshall Stanmore Bluetooth speaker that works flawlessly with other apps (at room shaking volumes even). Preparing to play THE LAST PUSH. Anyone else having any issues with iPAD? Am I destined to be an Opel Blitz forever, SFX-wise?

It would definitely be good to know if anyone else is having similar issues. It's not a problem we have had reported in the past.

What iOS version and device are you running on?

IPAD with Retinal display, 7.1.1 and as mentioned, a decent sound system.

Great News! Not only have I been promoted from Opel blitz status to Wehrmacht Infantry status, I now have sound effects! I contacted Apple and they walked me through deleting the game from my iPad and then restoring it, along with the Megapack I had purchased... And as of now, the sweet sounds of gunfire, explosions, etc. once again fill the atmosphere around me! Sorry to have run you around so, Pip. I should have remembered to just go back to basics and "reboot!" I guess I was afraid that I might lose this game and the Megapack; I really, really enjoy this masterpiece! And future free player-created scenarios await? Incredible!
