The approachable yet detailed tactical game Battle Academy has now landed on Steam! This is an action-packed tactical strategy game where you have to take command of a select group of units and lead them through battles on the many different fronts of World War II. As a commander, you will have to employ real world combined-arms tactics in order to secure victory.

We are also pleased to announce that we are giving a free Steam key to anyone who has a copy of the game, wherever they bought it from. All they need to do is register their serial number and they will be able to redeem their code!

In addition to this release, on April 23rd the Battle Academy family on Steam will be expanded with the battle Academy Mega Pack, which includes 6 expansions containing over 100 new units, 75 new scenarios and 6 full campaigns.

I might just ditch my other wargame installs and dive into a swarm of BA challenges.

Just finished 4 months of near continual moving (I moved then had to move mother), and I am due for like about 8 months of do nothing at all to recuperate.

All the new steam crowd should be great for opponent traffic.

Easy as pie (is that a phrase?). As I bought BA through Matrix the button to generate the Steam key was already available to click. Thanks!

OK, I got the steam key and activated and downloaded BA . Now I have two BA's on my system, and the steam version doesn't have any of the expansions I've purchased! The original version patched itself and now has an offer to buy all the expansions for a low price (I have 3 already), but the steam version does not have this offer. How can I get the expansions for my steam version, and when I finally get the steam version upgraded, how do I get rid of the old version. Will I need steam keys for the expansions? This is very confusing! I would be happy to buy all the expansions at the special price but don't know how to do this for the steam version. HELP!

The expansions are not yet out on Steam, but will be very soon (planned for next week). Once this is done, you will then be able to redeem any expansion key for Steam in the same we you did for the base game.

I bought the original BA on Steam. Now I have just bought the Megapack from the Slitherine site. I figured that I'd be able to get Steam keys for the expansion, no worries. However, the Megapack won't even install. I get an error message that the program to be updated is "either missing or has the incorrect version". Will it install when the Steam keys for the expansions are released?

I'm well aware that different stores versions may be incompatible, but there is nothing stated about this version being incompatible with Steam on the product page. Just that you have to have BA, which I have.

Yes.

Will there be an OSX version on Steam? I just used my free Steam key and get the message that there is no version for my current platform.

Unfortunately we don't have the time to look in to this at the moment so have no plans currently to do an OSX version on Steam.
