Greek edition: 5 major battles covering classical and hellenistic greece:
persian wars: plataea 479 BC
pelopponesian wars: delium 424 BC
macedonian wars: chaeronea 338 BC
alexandrian wars: gaugamela 331 BC
diadochi war: paraitakene 317 BC

Pool 1: batesmotel, jonathan, ricoual, gianfranco, okie, iandavidsmith
Pool 2: cromlechi, fogman, vacant, cunningcairn, ulysisgrunt, londo

Schedule

POOL 1 POOL 2 Read horizontally. For exemple in Pool 1, round 1, okie has to challenge batesmotel for Chaeronea, ricoual for Paraitaekene, and gianfranco for Plataea. Challenger are side 1 (which is the default, for example, okie is by default macedonians in Chaeronea).

3 weeks per round.

Scoring

Points are awarded as 10 times % of enemy casualties.

The scenarios are on the Forum at Scenario Design. Find 'fogman's battle recreations', the scenarios in question are number 2, 16, 21, 27, 34.

Download them into for example your desktop. Select (right-click) the files and copy them.

Then, find the Slitherine folder (usually in the Documents folder). Inside the Slitherine folder, there is a 'FieldofGlory Scenario' folder. Open it and paste the downloaded files in there. Then unzip them with the 'extract here' command.

The scenarios will appear inside the game from the 'custom scenarios' pull down.

Play around with them against yourself in hotseat (the AI cannot handle them) to familiarize yourself with the situations. It's not a Dag game where you have full freedom of action.

I'm also interested.

2-3 more players needed to complete the second section.

Players will be drawn randomly into the 2 sections. There will not be a "A" and "B" sections.

Note: do not stagger your games. post and pick up ALL your challenges together within 3 days. There are 5 in total per rounds, (4 for pool 2 for now)

Question for Fogman: Gaugamela rules state no double moves. I take it this is the exception for leaving everything as is?

All games are to be played without fog of war and double moves (which is the default settings in my copy).

I downloaded a program without success. Could someone invite me for the scenari I have to implement?
