Home of Wargamers is less than two months away and we have already announced a great number of games we will be showing there, as well as some of the other activities that will be going on. Today we will be revealing some of the games that will be shown in the Sale Crociati, or the Crusaders Hall.
In the Crusaders Hall, we will be showing you a wide variety of different games. First of all, we will be presenting two Close Combat games. Close Combat: Gateway to Caen has already been announced some time ago and is currently in beta. The other Close Combat game we will be showing is Close Combat: The Bloody FIrst. This will be the first Close Combat game based on a new engine. Rock Paper Shotgun posted an interview on the upcoming Close Combat game, which can be found here.
Another major title we will be displaying in the Crusaders Hall is Battle Academy 2. This highly anticipated sequel to the Battle Academy series brings the Franchise to the Eastern Fronts and lets players command the armies of the Soviet Union for the first time in Battle Academy history. As we announced earlier, players will not only be seeing the game, but have a chance to play the game as well and compete for awesome prices.
Finally we are also showing two games which have to remain unannounced for now. I can tell you however that these will both be great looking games that make the best possible use of the latest Battle Academy engine. This engine has proven to be both very powerful and flexible and we have given external developers a chance to show you just how creative this engine can be used!
The Home of Wargamers will be held in Castello de Pavone in the shade of the Italian Alps from 14 – 16 May, and you too can be there! Click here for more information.
