Calendar Day 21 NOV 1942
Winter Rains Status is "Partly Cloudy", Today's Weather is Rainy
Command Turn
Operational Turn -
Support and Movement Orders - Air Combat Resolution
Axis Artillery Orders are uncontested this Phase. 5 Arty/Superga BN is available for "Battery Fire".
The combined Axis and Allied Air orders are:
So we have 1 Air to Air Combats between the 1 Allied Interceptor and 1 Axis Interdiction Missions.
The Air Combat Chart
*Note: All Rolls witnessed by both GMs using the "PBE Games : Dice Roller"
No. 322 Wing RAF has first priority on interdiction missions and attempts to intercept the closest Interdiction mission, in hexes to its Off-Map Base in Bone. That mission is an Interdiction of Hex 1615 by
II./Sturzkampfgeschwader 3 Escorted by
III./Zerstörergeschwader 2.
No. 322 Wing RAF must defeat
III./Zerstörergeschwader 2 and if it does, it may then attempt combat against
II./Sturzkampfgeschwader 3.
Air to Air Combat One -
No. 322 Wing RAF versus
III./Zerstörergeschwader 2
No. 322 Wing RAF rolls 1d10-2 and gets a "9" net roll of "7" and aborts
III./Zerstörergeschwader 2.
III./Zerstörergeschwader 2 rolls a "10" and a "6" and shoots down
No. 322 Wing RAF. The Fw-190s of
III./Zerstörergeschwader 2 defeat their nemesis again!.
II./Sturzkampfgeschwader 3 will Interdict Hex 1615.
No. 322 Wing RAF will return at the beginning of Calendar Day 23 NOV.
So the Remaining Air Missions after Air to Air Combats are:
Axis:
The Ju-87Ds of
II./Sturzkampfgeschwader 3 interdicts 1615.
The Ju-87Ds of
III./Sturzkampfgeschwader 3 are available for Ground Support from El Aouina.
The Bf-110Es of
8.S./Schlachtgeschwader 2 are available for Ground Support from Sidi Ahmed.

Calendar Day 21 NOV 1942
Winter Rains Status is "Partly Cloudy", Today's Weather is Rainy
Command Turn
Operational Turn -
Support and Movement Orders - Movement Orders Resolution
Final Movement Orders:
Movement as Displayed on the Map:
Note - The Allied BG moving from Le Kef to Bou Arada must stop in hex 1615 as it has insufficient movement, as the roads in 1615 are negated due to interdiction.
Also note that the French I/43RC BN has insufficient movement to reach Hex 1511 due to III./92/Superga BN's ZOC. It ends movement in Hex 1611.
There are no Battles this day...AGAIN. Both sides are cautious and maneuver....seemingly endlessly!.
However, things are getting interesting in the South......a bad kind of interesting if you are the XC Korps Kommander.
Commando Movement Post-Landing
From the Rules: When the Movement Phase is over, for each Amphibious or Airborne Assault which has occurred the Allied player rolls a 1d6. On a roll of 1-3, the landing itself uses all of the unit's movement for that turn. On a roll of 4-6 the unit uses only half of its movement and may then expend 6 movement points *after any battles they are involved in, if they are the victor*.
*Note: All Rolls witnessed by both GMs using the "PBE Games : Dice Roller"
"2", the
No. 6 Commando stays put in 1603.

May I ask an innocent question? Why not post these Campaign threads into their own forum? Would it not be easier that way to follow?

Well, one thread per Calendar day keeps it organized. As well, many other forum readers follow the days' events and download the battles, so having it tucked away somewhere isn't conducive to that. If We had a private one for RTT'42, it'd be tucked away.

Nava quick question - as I have just experienced something that I haven't come across before.....I hot swapped 2 units and the unit that swapped to the rear was then attacked during the hot swap, is this something that is norm or something freaky that you have added just for the RTT campaign.

The norm. Reaction fire by a unit. A swap is still a move.
