Slitherine

Although a veteran of PG and PG2 I am relatively new to Panzer Corps and am very interested in developing my multiplayer scores. I've played a few games and have been on the receiving end of some thrashings (which is fine - I blame the rng!). So, I am wondering whether anyone is interested in playing some multiplayer games and perhaps giving me some tips and pointers during the course of the games to help me develop my technique and strategies. Looking forward to hearing from you - suggestions regarding good multiplayer scenarios for beginners would also be helpful. I'm most familiar with units from the early game so far 1939-40.

Hi Agrippa - I will contact you via Steam - my moniker on there is the same as it is for this forum "Koovan" - I tend towards the unimaginative when choosing forum names - it's actually a variation on my given name Kevin, inspired by the movie Muriel's Wedding.

I've used the universal match-making system up to this point and some of my opponents have proven unnecessarily offensive thus far without any provocation and so I was hoping to find some more companionable players on the Slitherine forums.

I am new to PanzerCorps too. I am on my 4th multiplayer game. I have found reading the forums really good for picking up strategies and tactics. Have you seen the tips and tricks thread? Also having a good crack at the single player campaigns will teach you a few things. I think newbies are at a distinct disadvantage if we play an experienced player on a map they have played before and we know little about. PM me if you want a game and I would be happy to ping you tips in the send message window during the game. Well at least some of the strategies I have tried. BTW I am getting whipped by didi960 in Bocage Breakout map right now. Hopefully I can make a come back.... It's a doozy!
