Slitherine

Sometimes there is a river through a forest or you can see a river cut through a city hex. Other times a hill might appear to have lots of trees on it.

I am on the IPad lately so info is limited. It appears that a river through a forest is just a river. A river through the middle of a city hex is a city, but not if it is a river that runs through the city but has its own full river hex without town stiff around it inside the hex. A hill with lots of trees on it is just a hill.

Is all this correct?

A river thru a forest is mostly a river, yes. However, some defense bonuses from the forest have impact on battles.
Same for the city w/ river

Hill with trees on it is the default graphic - all the hills have many trees on them. In short, it is just a hill.
